Overview
Once tickets are on sale, you'll need to manage orders, handle customer requests, process refunds, and prepare for event day. After the event, you'll track your payouts and pull reports. This guide covers the operational side of selling tickets — everything that happens after a buyer clicks "purchase."
This is for event creators and ticket sellers who are actively managing ticket sales. For help setting up your event and tickets, see Getting Started Selling Tickets and Tickets, Pricing, and Promos. For the full picture, see Selling Tickets with Evvnt.
Orders and Processing
The Orders section lets you view all ticket purchases for your events. You can search by order number, buyer name, or email to find specific transactions. As an event host, you can also process orders directly — for example, to handle phone or in-person sales. For events with large group orders or complex purchasing scenarios, the platform provides tools to manage multi-ticket, multi-attendee transactions.
Customers and Confirmations
The Customers section gives you access to buyer information, order history, and attendee details. You can update customer names on tickets, download attendee email lists, and review confirmation email delivery. Each ticket purchase generates a confirmation email and e-ticket sent to the buyer — and you have options to customize the design of both. The platform also supports collecting additional buyer information through custom fields.

Refunds, Exchanges, and Cancellations
When plans change, the platform provides tools for refunding individual tickets or full orders, exchanging tickets for a different date or ticket type, and managing the communication around rescheduled or canceled events. Each of these actions has implications for your payout and reporting, so it's important to understand how they work before processing them.

Payments and Payouts
All ticket revenue is processed through Stripe. To receive payouts, you'll need to set up a Stripe Connected Account and provide your banking information. Payouts are processed after your event takes place, and the platform provides tools to track payout timing, reconcile your books, and understand how fees affect your final revenue. If a buyer disputes a charge, there's a defined protocol for handling Stripe disputes.

Reports and Data
The reporting tools give you access to sales data, attendance information, and payout history at both the event and organization level. The event dashboard provides a real-time overview, while detailed reports let you export data for your own records. The platform also includes an engagement report that tracks how buyers interact with your event page.

Mobile Box Office and Day-of Operations
The Evvnt Mobile Box Office app is your tool for event-day operations. It handles ticket scanning and check-in, on-site ticket sales, and order lookup. The app supports card readers for in-person credit card payments. Beyond the app itself, preparing for event day involves planning your check-in flow, understanding your scanning options, and having a plan for common day-of scenarios.
