Overview
Once your event is created, the next step is configuring how tickets are sold. The Evvnt ticketing platform offers a range of options — from simple general admission tickets to tiered pricing, reserved seating with floor plans, and promo codes to drive sales. You also control how and when tickets are available, whether they're sold online or reserved for in-person sales by your staff.
This guide covers the ticket configuration options available to event creators and ticket sellers. For help creating your event listing first, see Getting Started Selling Tickets. For the full picture, see Selling Tickets with Evvnt.
Creating Tickets and Settings
Tickets are organized by Ticket Category, each of which can hold one or more price levels. You control the ticket name, price, quantity, delivery method, and sales window for each category. You can set sales start and end times to make the same tickets available at different times with different prices — useful for early bird pricing or last-minute door sales. Some tickets can be configured as available only to your staff or admins for in-person sales, rather than being listed for online purchase. Ticket fees are applied automatically, and you can choose to absorb fees into your ticket price so buyers see a single all-in number, or let the system add them on top of your set price.

Venues and Floor Plans
For events with assigned seating, table arrangements, or general admission sections, the platform includes a floor plan system. You can build a visual layout of your venue, assign ticket categories to specific sections or seats, and let buyers choose their spot during checkout. Floor plans support table seating, reserved sections, and mixed layouts. Venues can be saved and reused across multiple events, with default ticket configurations that carry over.
Promo Codes and Discounts
Promotional tools help you drive ticket sales and reward specific audiences. Promo codes give buyers a discount at checkout — either a fixed amount or a percentage off. Early access codes unlock tickets before they go on sale to the general public, and hidden tickets are only visible to buyers who have the right code. The platform also supports quantity discounts for bulk purchases.

Additional Ticket Features
Beyond standard ticket sales, the platform offers additional features that may be available depending on your account configuration. These include registration forms for collecting custom attendee information, event waivers that require agreement before purchase, ticket packages that bundle multiple ticket types, donation funds, and custom buyer information fields. Some of these are premium features — contact your site partner or Evvnt representative to learn which options are available on your account.
