Email is one of the most effective channels for driving ticket sales and keeping your audience engaged. The Evvnt platform includes a built-in email broadcast tool and integrations with external email marketing services. This article covers how to use each option.
For a broader overview, see Marketing and Integrations.
Premium Email Marketing
Premium Email Marketing provides enhanced email campaign tools beyond the basic broadcast feature. This is available as an upgrade and offers more sophisticated targeting, design options, and analytics for your email campaigns.

Email Broadcasts
The built-in email broadcast tool lets you send messages directly to ticket buyers for a specific event. Use it for event reminders before the date and follow-up messages after the event has happened.
What Broadcasts Are For (and What They Aren't)
Broadcasts are designed for event-specific communication — reminders, schedule changes, post-event thank-yous. They are not a marketing tool for advertising new events to your past attendee list. For that, export your attendee email addresses and use a dedicated email marketing service, or use the MailChimp or Letterhead integrations to keep external lists synced automatically.
Sending a Broadcast
- Sign in and go to Emails in the left-side menu
- Click the + button to create a new broadcast (or open an existing draft)
- Choose your event from the dropdown — both upcoming events and events that concluded up to a month ago are available
- Name your email (for your reference), choose the type (Reminder for upcoming events, Follow-up for past events), and set the timing
- Write the email body. Reminders automatically include links to view tickets and the venue map.
- Click Save Email — your message is queued for delivery at the time you specified
Note: broadcast reminders may not schedule properly for recurring event series — for recurring events, send reminders manually for each occurrence.
MailChimp Integration
The MailChimp integration automatically syncs ticket buyer email addresses to your MailChimp mailing lists. Once connected, new buyers are added to your specified audience automatically — no manual exporting required. This lets you build ongoing email campaigns, drip sequences, and newsletters that include your ticket-buying audience.
