There are some subtle differences between "Multi-day" and "Recurring" events. Here we will share how these are input into our system and how they will display. That should help you decide if your event should be posted to our system. Any event that happens more than once could reasonably be listed as either a multi-day or recurring event. It depends on how you would like the event to appear and be promoted in our system.
Multi-day Events (See Here)
A multi-day event is an event that is happening over the course of several days. There may be distinct hours during the separate days, but our system accepts these events as one event entry and only one listing. Your event start time on the first day and the end time on the last day will be what is displayed. More about Multi-day events in our Basics - Adding the date and time
A multiday event will not show in the events list after the start date and time unless the event is Featured. If the event is Featured, then it will appear in the Featured section after the event starts with the date replaced with "On Now".
Recurring (or Repeating) Events (See Here)
A recurring event is an event that happens multiple time at different dates or times. These are usually events that repeat multiple times, like a play with several performances. These must be entered as individual, one-day events, and then additional dates are added later. This allows different start and end times to be added for the different days of the event. More info here about Posting a recurring event, events with multiple dates.
