If you attempted to post an event to a calendar then you may have been notified that the category for your event does not match the settings for that calendar. In this case, you have arrived at one of the category specific calendars in our network.
Why do they do this?
Some calendars will only allow a particular type of event because they are trying to cater to the needs of a particular audience. To avoid having to manually manage all the events that are submitted, these calendars have elected to only allow events posted with a particular category to appear.
Now what?
If you are unable to post your event to a category specific calendar, then the event can still be posted to our global calendar. Simply continue with your event submission from your current location and our system will post the event to our global calendar. Once posted, your free submission will be available or viewing online, and you can upgrade the event to a premium listing to have it syndicated across our network of sites and calendars for a wider audience.
