Having duplicates increases the risk of showing conflicting information about an event in our system. We will also block duplicates to prevent people from posting copycat events to elicit fraudulent ticket sales, and to block spammers from posting the same info or ticket sales link.
If you are trying to post the same event to multiple calendars powered by Evvnt then you may be presented with this message. This will happen when your event title and date/time, or the ticketing link are exactly the same as another event in our network of calendars.
Our system is designed to have one version of the event that can then be shown in multiple calendars. Your event can be posted to multiple locations by upgrading to a premium event. Then, our system will automatically place your event on calendars in the area of your event, as well as boosting search engine ranking of the event by submitting it to a large variety of national and special interest event sites.
