Overview
Premium Email is a promotional option that sends your event directly to a targeted local audience via email. It is separate from premium event syndication — you can use one, the other, or both depending on how widely you want to promote your event.

What Premium Email Does
When you purchase a premium email, your event is featured in an email sent to a local audience in your event's area. This puts your event directly in front of potential attendees rather than waiting for them to find it on a calendar page or in search results.
Availability
The option to purchase a premium email is available for physical events where the venue has a defined location. Virtual events without a physical location may not have the premium email option available, as the targeting relies on geographic proximity to the event venue.
If you don't see the premium email option on your event, this is likely why — the system needs a physical location to determine the audience.
How to Purchase
The premium email option is presented during the submission process alongside other upgrade options. You can also purchase it after submission from your event's Manage page on the dashboard. The email is a one-time send — each purchase sends one email campaign for that event.
Premium Email vs. Premium Syndication
These are two different promotional products:
- Premium syndication places your event on multiple calendars and event sites across the web. See Upgrading to Premium Event Syndication for details.
- Premium email sends your event directly to a local audience via email.
You can purchase either one independently, or use both together for maximum reach.
Premium Email FAQs
Why don't I see an email option for my event? Email campaigns are only available for events with a US zip code in the location. Make sure your event has a zip code entered — and a website URL — or the email option won't appear. International events are not eligible.
Can I edit my email after I pay? No. Once you've paid, the email is locked. Double-check everything before you check out.
How do I know when my email will be sent? Log in at app.evvnt.com, find your event, and click "Email Campaign." You'll see the send date — and after it goes out, you'll see open and click stats there too.
How far does the email reach? The map at checkout is just an estimate. The system will expand the search area as needed to find the number of subscribers you selected.
Can I change the location the email is targeting? The premium email option in our calendar system requires the email target to center on the venue's zip code. Our ticketing platform email option does allow the sender to set the target zip codes, and that feature will eventually be available in all of our systems.
Who receives the email? Subscribers are local residents who opted in through surveys, newsletters, or partner websites. They're matched to your event by location and category. The list is regularly cleaned and verified.
What open and click rates should I expect? Rates vary by location and event type, but they're in line with typical email marketing benchmarks. A strong title, good images, and clear copy will help.
Can I send more than one email per event? Each event can only have one email sent. To send another, create a new event with a slightly different title and schedule a separate email for it. Our ticketing platform email option does allow for multiple sends to be scheduled for one event, and that feature will eventually be available in all of our systems.
