Overview
Once your event has been submitted, the event dashboard is your central location for making changes. From there you can edit event details, clone an event to reuse its information, cancel an event, or manage drafts you saved before completing a submission.
For a broader view of everything you can do as a promoter, see Promoting Events with Evvnt.
Accessing the Dashboard
When you log in, you'll see the event dashboard. Click My Events to view all your active, draft, and expired events. From there you can click on any event's title to open its Manage page, where all the actions described below are available.
Editing an Event
From the Manage page of any active event, click Edit to reopen the event form with your existing information filled in. You can update any field — title, date, venue, images, links, categories, and more. Changes are saved when you resubmit the updated event.
Note: If your event has already been syndicated via a premium upgrade, edits will be reflected across all the calendars where your event appears, though updates may take some time to propagate.
Cloning an Event
The Clone tool copies the information from a previously submitted event into a new event form. This is useful for event organizers who run repeat events — rather than filling everything out from scratch, clone an existing event and then adjust the date, time, or any other details that have changed.
- Open My Events and find the event you want to copy.
- Click the event title to open its Manage page.
- Click Clone to create a new event form pre-filled with the original event's details.
- Update the date, time, and any other fields as needed, then submit.
Canceling an Event
You can cancel an event directly from the dashboard.
- Click My Events and find the event you want to cancel.
- Click on the event title to open its Manage page.
- Click Cancel to remove the event from the calendar.
Canceled events will no longer appear on the calendar or any syndicated sites.
Recurring Events and Multiple Dates
Evvnt supports two types of multi-date events:
- Multi-day events — Events that span multiple consecutive days (e.g., a three-day festival). These are treated as a single entry with a start date and an end date.
- Recurring events — Events that repeat on a schedule, such as weekly or monthly. Each occurrence is listed separately on the calendar.
Both types are configured during submission in the Date and Time section. After submission, recurring events can be managed from the dashboard — each occurrence may appear as its own entry depending on how the recurrence was set up.
Working with Drafts
If you saved an event as a draft, you can return anytime to finish and publish it.
- From your dashboard, click My Events
- Click the Drafts tab
- Click Manage on the event you want to finish
- Click Continue
From here, you can make any changes you need to your event details, categories, tickets, or contact info.
When you're done, either click Save Draft to keep working on it later, or click Next Step to proceed through the preview and reach the publishing page where you'll choose your plan.
